Louvinia Browning, 90, of Browning Acres, passed away Monday, November 22, 2004 at the Harlan Nursing Home.
A native of Harlan County, she was a retired housekeeper and believed in the Baptist faith and had attended the old Bethel Baptist Church at Grays Knob, KY. She had resided the last several years at the Harlan Nursing Home.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilson Sherman Browning and Sarah Bell Blanton Browning; 12 brothers and sisters, Delmar Browning, Sr., Fetter Browning, Mayo Browning, Gillis Browning, Maggie Fitzgerald, Addie Estes, Ada Crutchfield, Ray Browning, Edward Browning, Louella Browning, Henry Browning, and Jesse Wilson Browning.
She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that are left to mourn her passing.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004 at the Anderson & Laws Funeral Home, Harlan.
Funeral services will follow at 8 pm in the chapel of the Anderson & Laws Funeral Home with Rev. James Willard Pope officiating.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Friday, Nov. 26 at the Calvary Cemetery in Gray, Ky, assisted by the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home of Corbin.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Alzheimer's Association, 836 E. Euclid Ave., Suite 322, Lexington, KY 40502-1973.
