Lowell Johnson Fox

Lowell J. Fox, 84, of Corydon, Indiana, and formerly of Corbin, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2010 in Indiana.
Born in Rockholds, Kentucky, he was the son of the late A.J. Fox and Rebecca Mays Fox. He was retired from General Motors and was Baptist by faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years, Rhoda Fox; and by several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by sons, James Lowell Fox and wife Sueann of Troy, Ohio, and Edward Fox and wife Vannetta of Corydon, Indiana; daughter, Brenda Riaz of Kentucky; grandchildren, James Matthew Fox and wife Erica, Jeffrey Fox and wife Angela, Kyle Fox and wife Katherine, Alison Craig, and Lindsey Craig; great-grandchildren, Rachel, Gracen, and Keegan; and by several siblings.
Funeral service will be at 2pm Friday, Sept. 24, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Lynn Camp Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon Friday until the time of the funeral at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, 607 Master Street, Corbin, KY.
