Lucille Bennett

Lucille Bennett, 89, formerly of Woodbine, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013 at her son's home at Hustonville, KY.
Born at Woodbine, she was a daughter of the late W. S. and Carrie McFarland Gann. Also she was preceded in death by her husband Hubert A. Bennett, daughter-in-law Elinore Benet, granddaughter Karalyn Benet, sisters Ruth Skinner, Margarite Boyle, Josephine Lloyd and June Mobley, and brothers Harold Gann and Jolly Gann.
Lucille belonged to the Woodbine Christian Church.
She is survived by three children: Jerry Michael Benet and fiancee Gayle Bird of Beetown, WS, Jack Bennett and wife Rebecca of Hustonville, and Carolyn Bennett of London; six grandchildren: Clint Ferfort, Bethani Smith (Denver), Meghan Ferfort, Katelyn Bennett, Karalee Hines (Jamie), and Scott Benet; three great grandchildren: Jaman and Jaela Smith, and Karalyn Hines; four great-great grandchildren: Nathan, Dalton, Jr., Austin, and Ezekiel; and many nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
Visitation will begin at 12 noon Thursday at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Her funeral will follow at 2 pm there with Bro. Orville Taylor officiating.
Burial will be at the McFarland Cemetery at Woodbine. Family members will be pallbearers.
