Lucy Imogene York

Lucy Imogene York, age 91, of Lily, passed away on Friday February 14, 2020 at her home. She was born in Corbin, KY and was a member of First Baptist Church. Lucy was preceded in death by her Husband, Max York; Parents, Emmett Pope and Minnie Early Pope; and by her Brothers, George Green Pope and wife Jan, C.C. Pope, and Paul Pope. She is survived her Daughters, Mary A. Davis (Rev. Larry) of Science Hill, KY, and Susan K. Mitchell (Tim) of Lily; Grandchildren; Melanie Groves (Brad) of Science Hill, Joshua Jenkins (Pamela) of Wentzville, MO, Benjamin Davis (Amber) of Georgetown, KY, Jacob Davis (Tamara) of Louisville, Jennifer Smith of Lily, Daniel Smith (Rebecca) of Lily, Carman Hall (Brad) of Keavy, and Wade Mitchell (Kellen) of Corbin; 17 Great Grandchildren; Sister in law, Lou Pope, and by many other family and friends. Memorial service will be held at 6pm on Sunday February 16, 2020 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Davis officiating.
