Lucy Jo Rees

Lucy Jo Rees, age 85, of Corbin, KY passed away on Sunday December 12, 2021, at Baptist Health in Corbin. She was born in Harlan County and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Corbin. Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, Jo S. Rees and Maude Williams Rees and by a sister, Helen Rees. She is survived by a cousin, Patricia Smalley and her daughters, Jessica and Kelly; and by many friends including Donna and Johnny Woods. Visitation will be on Wednesday December 15, 2021, from 1pm until 2pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home where her funeral service will be held at 2pm with Rev. Allen Bonnell officiating. Burial will follow in the Horse Creek Cemetery in Corbin.
