Lula Mildred Mobley Bunton

Lula Mildred Mobley Bunton, 79, of LaPorte, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, March 21, in LaPorte. She was born May 1, 1924 in Corbin to the late Don and Sudie Alsip Mobley.
Mrs. Bunton was a retired laborer/inspector for American Home Foods. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Corbin.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry W. Bunton; by three daughters, Virginia Kathleen, Billy Sue and Sherry Lynn; by one son Terry Lee; and by her parents and grandparents.
She is survived by one son, William Carl Smith and wife Sue of LaPorte, Indiana; by three daughters, Peggy Reeder and husband Daniel Jr. of Corbin, Vicki Bishop and Mildred Edwards of LaPorte, Indiana; and by eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are at 2:00pm Friday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Steve Mayle officiating. Burial is in the Worley Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00 pm Thursday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
