Mabins Mefford

Mabins Mefford, 68, of Corbin, passed away Monday, February 2, 2004 at the Corbin Nursing Home. She was born May 30, 1935 in Bledsoe, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Adrian and Camma Howard Napier. She was a homemaker and was Pentecostal by faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Nancy Mason and Betty Bainey, and one brother Bill Napier.
She is survived by two sons Wilburn Mefford and wife Mary Lynn of Ann Arbor, Michigan and Michael Mefford of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; two sisters Annie Sanders Napier of Keavy and Sarah Lewis of Keavy; one brother Critt Napier of Lily; one granddaughter Melissa Mefford; and by 29 nieces and nephews as well as a host of other friends and family who mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mabins Mefford are at 11:00 am Thursday, February 5, in the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Ronnie Smith and Rev. Randall Mays officiating. Burial will be in the Napier Cemetery in Bledsoe, Kentucky in Harlan County.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Wednesday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
