Maggie Hopkins

Maggie Emily Hopkins, age 93, of Corbin, passed away on Thursday November 16, 2017 at her home.
She was a homemaker who loved to read her Bible, working on puzzle books, and planting flowers.  Maggie was a wonderful cook who loved caring for others especially her family.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Earl Hopkins Sr; Parents, William and Cindy Bruner Hatcher; Son, Earl Hammock; Brothers, Dave and Clyde Hatcher, and by a sister, Sarah Bruner.
Maggie is survived by eleven Children, Ruby Jackson, Edith Lawson, Betty Marshall, Bertie Martin, Charles Hammack, Donnie Hammack, Faye Hall, Judy Gray, Rick Hopkins, Erma Parker, and Eugene Hopkins; 34 Grandchildren; 59 Great Grandchildren, and 47 Great Great Grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Monday November 20, 2017 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, with Rev. Gary Elliott and Rev. Billy Evans officiating.
Burial will follow in the Norvell Cemetery in Laurel County.
