Maggie Mae Wright

Maggie Mae Wright, age 93, of Fourth Street, Corbin, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2003 at the Christian Health Center in Corbin.
She was born on July 3, 1910, in Knox County the daughter of the late James Tevis and Katie Alloway Ray.
She was a retired cook from the Corbin School System, and a member of the Central Baptist Church in Corbin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Earl Wright Sr. & one Son John Earl Wright, Jr.
She is survived by one Son James Ray Wright and his wife Ileen of Weaverville, NC; a Sister Loma Jean House of Waterbury, CT; Five Grandchildren, Gerri Regan, Joyce Caygill, Deborah Wright, James Wright III, and David Wright; Six Great Grandchildren; a Special Friend Exona Martin;  and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2003 at 2:00pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, 607 Master Street in Corbin, with the Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating.
Interment will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens at Lily, Kentucky.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6-9pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
