Margaret Ann Rapier

Margaret Ann Rapier, age 64, passed away on Thursday October 20, 2022, at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, KY.

She was born in Barbourville, Kentucky and was preceded in death by her husband, Herman P. Rapier, parents, Jim Deaton and Louise Messer Deaton, and by brothers, Level Deaton, Clinton and Floyd Deaton, and by a sister, Mary Mays.

Margaret is survived by her children, Paul Rapier, Melissa Perkins, and Tonya Lynn Rapier, grandchildren, Paul Henry Rapier, William Arthur Rapier, James Allen Rapier, Alexandria Perkins, Wesley Harrison Carter III, and Wyatt Harrison Carter, great grandchildren, Madelyn Grace Brummett and Karter Wayne Brummett, brothers, David Deaton, Bobby Ray Deaton, and Michael Deaton, and sisters, Frances Reynolds, Kathy Chadwell, and Wilma Cobb, and by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Visitation will be from 11am until 1pm on Saturday October 29, 2022, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will be at 1pm on Saturday, with Rev. Samuel Lawson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Deaton Cemetery in Knox County.
