Margaret Isom

Margaret Isom, 68, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016, at her home. She had worked in housekeeping at the Old Corbin Hospital and was a member of the Piney Grove Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Zula Cobb; brother Charles Cobb; and a great-grandson Gabriel Johnson.
She is survived by her daughter Teresa Battering and husband Donnie Battering of Woodbine; son Rick Eaton and partner Kevin Madson of West Virginia; son Chuck Eaton and wife Jewell Eaton of Corbin; son Greg Ison of Corbin; and son Eric Isom and fiancée Shaunda Bertrand of Lily; Sisters, Susie Selman and husband Harold of Gainesville, GA, and Greta Karr and husband Dennis of Morristown, TN; grandchildren Joey Johnson, Shanna Eaton, Tara Eaton, Ashley Jackson, Leah Rosengarten and husband Kelby Rosengarten, Shy Hoskins and husband Cody Hoskins, and Dalton Eaton; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends that will mourn her passing.
Visitation will be held from 12 Noon on Thursday, January 14, until the time of the funeral at 2:00 P.M. at the Piney Grove Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Cumberland Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Joey Johnson, Cody Hoskins, Greg Ison, Eric Isom, Kevin Madson, Dalton Eaton, James Lee, Donnie Battering, and Kevin Lee.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
