Margaret Kay Young, age 58, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2024, at Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky.
Born on May 2, 1966, in Cincinnati, OH, to the late James and Irene Angel Sarver, Margaret was a beacon of strength, love, and compassion. She leaves behind a life filled with profound accomplishments, joyous memories, and a legacy of unwavering faith and dedication to her loved ones. She was a dedicated member of the Frankfort Baptist Church.
Margaret's devotion extended to her professional life as well, where she served as a notable Dialysis Technician at DCI in Corbin for over 32 years. Her dedication to her patients was unmatched, often going above and beyond to ensure their comfort and well-being. Outside her professional confines, Margaret's love for the outdoors was infectious. She cherished fishing and camping trips where she basked in the serenity of nature, sharing her passion with those around her, especially with her husband, family, and best friends, Kelly Angel and Vivian Fuson.
Margaret's life was a testament to resilience, compassion, and unwavering faith. She will be remembered for her boundless love, her strength in the face of adversity.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Austin Young; children, Patricia Marie Brown, Scott Young, and Justin Young; grandchildren, Kaylynn Brown, Isaac Austin Brown, Clayton Young, and Allen Napier Young; and by her brothers, Mark Sarver and James Sarver.
Memorial visitation for Margaret Kay Young will be held from 12noon until 1pm on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 1 pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. James Hodge officiating.
