Margie Turner

Margie Rice Turner, 92, long time resident of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away at Legacy Reserve in Lexington, Kentucky on May 17, 2022. She was a longtime member of Central Baptist Church in Corbin Margie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Wiley Turner, Jr, her parents, Leonard and Eva Melton Rice, and two brothers, and six sisters. She is survived by her children, Leonard Turner (Brenda) of London, Kentucky, Bobby R Turner (Chris) of Lexington, and Jerry Lynn Turner (Kathy) of Fort Myers, Florida, 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and two sisters, Norma (Rice) Maze and Gloria (Rice) Griffin both of Florida and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Visitation will be from 1:00pm-2:00pm on Saturday May 21, 2022, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with her Funeral to follow at 2:00pm. Entombment will be at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, Kentucky with her grandsons serving as pall bearers.
