Marie Hopkins

Marie Hopkins, age 86, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2013, at Hillcrest Health & Rehabilitation.
Marie was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Corbin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Earl Hopkins; parents, John Goff and Lila Sampson Goff; two sisters, Elizabeth Sawyers and Mary Clouse; and four brothers, Sam, James, Frank and Junior Goff.
She is survived by her children: Glennis W. Hopkins and wife Juanita, and Earlene Hicks and husband Wes; four grandchildren: Mark Hopkins and wife Gayle, Chris Hopkins, Angela Hicks, and Bethany Hicks; sister, Dorothy Shinsato; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends who mourn her passing.
Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Wednesday, July 17, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
Her Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 18th, at Immanuel Baptist Church in Corbin. Burial will follow in the Corn Creek Cemetery.
