Mark Allen Paul

Mark Allen Paul, age 49, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Baptist Health Corbin. Mark was born in Annapolis, Michigan, a son of Archie Paul and Barbara Howington Paul. He had a passion for music and enjoyed sharing that passion with others. Mark was an especially gifted drummer and played for the band Endring. He was preceded in death by his father, Archie, sister, Shawn Skidmore, and by his grandparents. Mark is survived by his mother, Barbara, daughters, Whitney Scalf, Gabriella Paul, and Brianna Paul, siblings, Jody Lamarr and Danny Paul, honorary brothers, James Lee, Jerry Harper, Lonnie Beatty, Mike Smith, Cleve Moore, and Manuel Garcia, and special friend Sarah Wright. Visitation will be held from 3-6pm on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where his funeral service will follow at 6pm with Jerry Harper officiating. In Lieu of Flowers, the family has asked for donations to assist with final expenses. Donations can be made online through the Tribute Fund, by calling the funeral home, or in person.
