Martha F Collins

Martha F. Creech Collins, age 82, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday November 5, 2023, at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky.

Born in Benham, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Rankin Creech and Myrtle Davis Creech.  Martha was a local seamstress and active in the Red Hat Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Collins, sons, William Thomas Collins Jr. and George Rankin Collins, and by her sister, Shelby Clevenger and her husband Jim.

Martha is survived by her grandsons, Joshua Collins (Melissa) of Conroe, TX, and Tyler Collins (Meghan) of Corbin, sister, Ruth Jackson (Don) of Lily, KY, brothers, Bill Creech (Linda) of Waco TX, David Creech (Rhonda) of Cumberland, KY, and Gary Creech (Monette) of Benham, KY.  daughter in law, Sheila Collins.  She has four precious great grandchildren, Brantley, Amelia, Madelyn, and Tytus, and by a host of family and friends.

A graveside service for Martha Collins will be held at 2pm on Saturday November 18, 2023, at Monhollen Cemetery, Fifth Street Road in Corbin, Kentucky, with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating.
