Marvin Mills, age 81, of Corbin, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2013, at his home.
He was the owner of the former Western Auto Hardward Store on Main Street in Corbin and was a Navy Veteran of Korea and past member of the American Legion.
Mr. Mills was preceded in death by his Son, Byron Keith Mills; Parents, John D. Mills and Lucy Bingham Mills; Brother, Elmer Mills; and Sister, Thelma Cook.
He is survived by his Wife, Mona Eversole Mills; Son, Michael Mills and wife Beth of Cold Spring, KY; Daughter, Sandra Mills of Lexington; Brother, Glen D. Mills, PHD of Walker, KY; Sister, Gertrude Messer of Flat Lick, KY; Grandsons, Michael Mills Jr. and Nathan Mills.
Funeral service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home in Corbin. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion Post #88 of Corbin.
Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Tuesday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
