Mary Etta Smith

Mary Etta Smith, 59, of Gray, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2008,  at UK Medical Center in Lexington.
Born in Gray, she was the daughter of the late Woodson and Ressie Hibbard Smith. She had been a cook for the Knox County Board of Education and was Pentecostal by faith.
She is survived by her husband Robert Smith; daughter, Sharon Nicole Smith; two sons, Clifford Dwayne Smith and wife Stacy and Samuel Lee Smith; brothers and sisters, Bob Smith and wife Nadine, Ann Smith, Bill Smith & wife Marie, Lonnie Smith & wife Tammy, Judy Smith & husband David, Linda Smith & husband Jerry, Jim Smith & wife Peggy, Randy Smith & wife Brenda, Bonnie Smith, and Joe Smith & wife Marthalou; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends, all who mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Monday, April 14, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Johnson and Rev. Randy Lowe officiating. Burial will follow in the Brafford Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Sunday, and from 12 noon until the funeral at 2pm Monday at the funeral home.
