Mary Othella Harris

Mary Othella Harris, 83, of Gray, KY, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014 at UK Medical Center in Lexington.
Born in Whitley City, KY, she was the daughter of the late Nancy Carter Allen Spradlin and James Allen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Gene Allen, Eddie Allen and Carl Spradlin; and sisters Mildred Allen Jeffrey and Martha Allen Hamblin.
She is survived by her children: Clyde Gibbs and wife Beverly, James Gibbs and wife Sharlet, David Gibbs and wife Judy, Brenda Smart and husband Darrell, Mike Harris and wife Connie, and Peggy Harris; 12 grandchildren: Todd, Tommy, Vicki, James, Tina, David, Rhonda, Tiffany, Cheyenne, Tyler, Taylor, and Tara; a host of great-grandchildren; two brothers Ray Spradlin and wife Mabel of Indiana and Earl Spradlin and wife Meg of Mississippi; and true friend Ruth Allen Baker.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-2p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
