Mary Virginia Brown

Mary Virginia Brown, age 75, of Corral Street, London, passed away Friday, December 12, 2003 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington.
She was born on June 11, 1928 in Bell County, Kentucky to the Late Jim and Debbie Slusher Hobbs.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Park Hill Pentecostal Church in Corbin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four Sons, Claude Brown Jr., twins Ronnie and Johnny Brown, and Donald Brown; Several Sisters and Brothers including, Elmer and Otis Hobbs, Elizabeth Johnson, Rosie Hobbs, and Myrtle Hensley.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Claude Brown; Ten Children, Margie Martin of Monticello, Ralph Brown of Indiana, Willie Brown of Michigan, Anna Swanson of Corbin, Brenda Brown of Tennessee, Darrell Brown of Michigan, Bobby Brown of Kentucky, Wendell Brown of Corbin, Christine Rhode of Minnesota, and Danny Brown of Kentucky; and  A host of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at 1:00pm at the Park Hill Pentecostal Church in Corbin with Rev. Thurston Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery in Keavy.
Visitation will be from 6-9pm on Monday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home in Corbin.
