Mattie Irene Mays

Mattie Irene Mays, age 86, of Corbin passed away on Thursday evening, March 9, 2006, at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin.
She was born on August 13, 1919 in London KY, and she was bookkeeper for the Mays Service Station.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Paul C. Mays; her Parents, J.T. and Mattie Beckner; Son, Paul Beckner Mays and his wife Nora; and by a Grandson, Paul Junior Mays.
She is survived by her Son, Charles Mays and his wife Sheila of Advance, NC; Grandson, Jason Mays of Greensboro, NC; a Great-Granddaughter, and a Great Great-Granddaughter. She is also survived by her friend and caregiver Marilyn Brooks.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 2:00pm at the Pine Hill Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Brown officiating.
