Melvin L. Golden

Melvin L. Golden, 79, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2019 at his residence in Corbin.
Born in Knox County, Melvin was the son of the late Ancle and Ila Rose Golden. He was a retired coal miner and a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Melvin was preceded in death by his brothers Marvin, Glen, and Jerry Golden; and by his sister Amanda Ellen Golden.
He is survived by his wife Eloise Howard Golden; son Mark Golden (Donna); grandchildren Tanner, Christina, Gabe, and Gunnar; nieces Adina Golden Saylor and Jerri Lynn Widner; and by his special friend James Miracle.
Funeral service will be held at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church at 8:00 pm Wednesday, November 13, 2019, with Rev. Keaton Smith officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 pm Wednesday at the church.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, November 14, 2019, at Terrell Cemetery.
