Mildred Y. Nash

Mildred Y. Nash, age 76, of Corbin, passed away on Monday, Dec. 16, 2013.
Born in Three Point in Harlan County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Fred Helton and Nannie Hoskins Helton. Mildred was a homemaker, was active at the Corbin Senior Citizen's Center, and was a born-again Christian.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Nash, and son, Jimmy Nash.
She is survived by six children: Vickie Greene(Larry), Freddie Nash (Sheri), Bill Nash (Evelyn, Donna Nash, Jesse Dale Nash (Sondra), and Eddie Nash (Cindy); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, James Helton(Faye); and sisters, Maggie Keegan and Frances Copas.
Funeral service will be at 1pm on Wednesday, Dec. 18, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton and Rev. Jimmy Siler officiating. Burial will be in the Nash Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11am Wednesday until the funeral hour at 1:00 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Corbin Senior Citizens' Center.
