Mona P. Pennington

Mona P. Pennington, age 57, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at her home. Born in Whitley County, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Virgie Storms Goodin. She was a member of the Church of Christ and had worked as a nurse for both Baptist Regional Medical Center and Oak Tree Hospital. She is survived by her three children, Kimberly Powell and husband Randy, Angela Robinson and husband Joseph, and Christopher Couch; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Sybil Couch and Norma Rogers, all who mourn her passing. Funeral service will be at 2pm Friday, July 15, 2011, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Bro. Delmon Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow in the Prewitt Cemetery.
