Nancy Jane Day

Nancy Jane Day, 73, of London, passed away Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006 at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late Clyde and Eliza Hensley Williams, born Jan. 18, 1933 in Laurel County. She was a member of the Dorthae Pentecostal Church, a housewife and homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Day; two sons, James Day and George Russell Day; a granddaughter, Sarah LeAnn Smith; a grandson, Billy Matt Day II; two brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by four sons, Johnny Day & wife Luwanna of Corbin, Kenneth Day and wife Shirley of London, Billy Matt Day and wife Kimberly of Corbin, and Larry Wayne Day and wife Suzie of Corbin; two daughters, Anita Day of Corbin and Sandra Day and husband Jerry of London; two daughters-in-law, Betty Day and her late husband James of London, and Joyce Day and her late husband Russell of London; three brothers; four sisters; 20 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be at 11 am Saturday at Dorthae Pentecostal Church with Rev. Carl Ray Felts and Rev. Billy Evans officiating. Burial will follow in the Lickliter Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Visitation will be after 6 pm Friday at the church. Corbin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
