Nellie Burns Gregory

Nellie Burns Hollingsworth Gregory, age 82, of Corbin, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013, at Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly.
Born in Clay County, she was the daughter of the late Bart and Flora Burns. She had worked at Hillcrest Nursing Home in the Kitchen/Dietary department.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Leland "Bonnie" Gregory on June 13, 2012; her siblings, Rob Burns, Elb Burns, William Burns, Johnny Burns, and Sallie Combs.
She is survived by her children: Ricky Gregory of Corbin, Lisa Smith and husband Robert of Keavy, Bonnie Lee of Corbin, Ronnie Hollingsworth and wife Debbie of Gray and Linda Ducret of Lily; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and family and friends.
Funeral service will be at 11am Thursday, Jan.24, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Randall Lee officiating. Burial will be in the Resthaven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm on Wednesday, Jan. 23, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
