Ninnia Howard, age 92, of Keavy, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2012, at her home.
Born in Balkan in Bell County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Garrett Miracle and Catherine Green Miracle. She was a homemaker and a member of the North Corbin Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Earl Howard; daughter, Virginia Adams; and two sons, Larry and Bryan Howard.
A Mother holds her children's hands for a short while, their hearts forever.
She is survived by her children: Lenora McQueen and husband A.J. of Norwood, Ohio, Dorothy Burke of Keavy, Janice Rader of Burlington, Kentucky, Jack Howard and wife Freda of Keavy, Kenneth Howard and Dolly Bunch of Keavy, Kathryn Young and husband Gary of LaVergne, Tennessee, Beverly Faulkner and husband W.C. of Corbin, Bruce Howard and wife Barb of Keavy, Wesley Howard of Keavy, Earlene Goins of Taylor Mill, Kentucky, and Holly Adams and husband David of Richmond; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Joyce Howard of Keavy; sisters, Loretta Losh and husband Lawrence of Oliver Springs, Tennessee, and Frances Miracle of Rockwood, Tennessee, all to mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be at 11 am Thursday, Dec. 6, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Burial will be in the Howard Family Cemetery with Grandsons serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Wednesday, Dec. 5, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
