Nova Jones Brooks

Nova Mooneyham Jones Brooks, age 86, of Corbin, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2006 at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin.
She was born on May 3, 1919 in Corbin to the late Roy Mooneyham and Ollie Payne Mooneyham. She was a retired cook from the former Lunch Queen in Corbin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her First Husband, Curtis Jones, and her Second Husband, Oral Houston "Hoss" Brooks; Three Sisters, Roena Cox, Lena Lakes, and Susie Baird; and Three Brothers, Darrell, Denver, and Finley Mooneyham.
She is survived by her Daughter, Joyce Miller of Florence, KY; her Son, Harold Jones of Tipp City, OH; Four Grandchildren, Harold Curtis Jones of Dayton, OH, Kimberly Ann LaChat of Troy, OH, Marla McElroy of Morganfield, KY, and Lisa Henry of Lousiville; Sister, Bonnie Jones of Covington; Brother, Roy Mooneyham Jr. of Corbin; 8 Great-Grandchildren and one Great Great-Grandchild.
Funeral service will be on Monday, February 27, 2006 at 11am at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Corbin.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 5-8pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
