Oliver Gray

Oliver Gray, 88, of Beech Bluff, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017 at St. Joseph London.
Born in Clay County, KY, he was the son of the lateThomas Jefferson Gray and Rosana Smith Gray.  Oliver was a member of the Living Waters Pentecostal Church, a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War, had been a welder for General Motors, and was a loving husband and father to his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Woodrow, Nannie, Lawrence Roy, Roscoe and Mable McCreary, and Chelcie, Arlie, Jessilee, and Nancy Marie Gray.
Oliver is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sarah Hollin Gray; children Marsha Young, Charles "Jeff" Gray, and Felicia Creech; grandchildren Steven and Kevin Creech, and Christopher Gray; and four great-grandchildren: Kristian, Aine, and Viktor Creech, and Autumn Gray.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 1, at Living Waters Pentecostal Church with Rev. Charlie Humfleet and Rev. R.P. Edwards officiating.  Burial will be in the Hollin Cemetery at Gray.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 31, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
