Oma Brock Saylor

Oma Brock Saylor, age 92, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on May 31, 2024, at the Christian Health Center in Corbin.

Born in Leslie County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Charles Leaman Roark and Flora Brummitt Roark.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Paris Charles Brock, second husband, S.B. Saylor; daughter, Charlotte Brock Johnson; and by her siblings, Ballard Roark, King David Roark, Lawrence Roark, Amanda Brison, Lucy Roper, C.L. Roark, Mary Lou Roark, and Rufus Farmer Roark.

Oma is survived by her sons, Joseph Brock, Robert Brock, and Charles Tod Brock; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sister, Phyllis McGeorge; and by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12pm to 2pm on Friday June 7, 2024, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will be held at 2pm on Friday June 7th with Bro. Teddy Bailey officiating.    Burial will be in the Laymon Cemetery in Cold Iron, Kentucky.
