Omar Daniel Ocampo

Omar Daniel Ocampo, 33, of Corbin, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2007 at the Oak Tree Hospital in Corbin.
Omar was born in Chicago, Illinois and was a member of the Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Woodrow and Rebecca Lunsford, and Elena Ocampo.
He is survived by his mother, Connie Hubbs and husband Paul of Corbin; father, Jesus Ocampo of Mexico; his siblings: sister, Anna Marie Villarreal and husband Alfredo of Chicago; brother, Miguel Ocampo and wife Conception; brother, Jeff Garlic and wife Patra of Hyden; sister, Linda Bright and husband Ronnie of Corbin; sister, Beverly "Karr" and husband John Caudill of Louisville, brother, Jonathan Ocampo and wife Jenny of Frankfort; three nieces, four nephews, two great-nieces and five great-nephews; and many other family and friends who mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, Oct. 17, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Bro. Lonnie Godsey officiating. Burial will be in the Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Tuesday, Oct. 16, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
