Omer Carl French Iii

Omer Carl French III, age 56, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Baptist Health Corbin.

He was born in Rushville, Indiana on November 21, 1966, to Omer C. French Jr. and Brenda Hibbard French who survive him.

Omer was preceded in death by a brother, Roger French, and a sister, Patricia Gray.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by, Debra Bennett French; children, Kyle French (Megan), Kevin French, Kiesha French, and Kattie French; grandchildren, Braelyn, Kyson, Kiaus French, Easton French, Bentley, Bella, Levi Southerland, Cameron, Kaylee, Athena, Gabriel, and Averi; brothers and sisters, Everett French, Cheryl Ash, Denice Reed, Angie French, Tim French, and Chad French, and by a host of nieces, nephews, along with many friends.

Visitation for Omer will be held at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home on Sunday, April 16, 2023, from 6-8 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jimmy Hibbard officiating.

Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery with Rex Davis, Bill Spray, Chris Mahan, Jason French, Dennis Hibbard, Dale Valentine, David Ash and Jonah French serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Dewayne Hembree, Jason McClane, Ronnie Vaugh, Gary Bennett.
