Oneda V. Bryant

Oneda V. Bryant, 95, of Corbin, KY passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016 at the home of her daughter at Murfreesboro, TN.
Born in Corbin, she was a daughter of the late Ralph O. and Pernia Anna Williams. Also, she was predeceased by her husband James Emil Bryant, a sister Aileen Brooks, a brother Ralph O. "Buddy" Williams, Jr., and a granddaughter Amy Wrenn.
Oneda was a faithful member of Grace on the Hill United Methodist Church and had belonged to the Bryant Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Corbin Women's Club, and Ossoli Club. She and her husband had been active in the Corbin Shrine Club and its Hillbilly unit.
She is survived by three children: Charlotte Jean Bryant Wrenn and husband Winston, Harold Walker Bryant, and Timothy Jay Bryant; six grandchildren: Chris Wrenn, Michael Wrenn and wife Susan, Andy Wrenn, Ralph Bryant, Charles Adam Bryant, and Kelly Michelle Bryant; eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; a sister Frances Stambaugh; and several nieces and nephews.
Oneda's visitation will begin at 4:00 pm Tuesday at Grace on the Hill UMC. Her service there will start at 7:00 pm, with Gus Clouse officiating.
Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery, with family and friends meeting there at 11:00 am Wednesday. Pallbearers will be Charles Bryant, Chris Wrenn, Hunter Ayers, Connor Ayers, Michael Wrenn, Steve Williams, and Ralph Bryant.
Memorials may be given to Caris Hospice at Murfreesboro, Grace on the Hill UMC, or the Distad Instrument Fund of the Music Alumni Association.
