Onedda Eaton

Onedda Eaton, 84, formerly of Corbin, KY and the widow of Foster A. Eaton, passed away Friday, August 5, 2016 at Baptist Health in Louisville.
Born at Woodbine, she was a daughter of the late Lonzo and Nola Mason Mitchell. In addition, she was preceded in death by brothers Quinton Mitchell and R. E. Mitchell, and sisters Lula Smith, Macie Adkins, and Frances Gilbert.
Onedda loved her children and grandchildren, and provided a good home for her family. She had attended the Corinth Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Edward Eaton and wife Judy; daughters Annette Hettinger, Jeanette Borton and husband Larry, Irene Eaton, and Ginny Fleenor and husband Jay; nine grandchildren: Kimberly Elliott, Kerri Torres, Tammy Harris, Bryan Hettinger, Jeff Borton, Amanda Schaefer, Aaron Borton, Jay Alan Fleenor, and Kelli Grant; twelve great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 until 9pm Monday at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Her funeral will be held there at 2pm Tuesday with Rev. James Hodge officiating. Interment will follow at Corinth Cemetery.
