Orval Rene Reeves

Orval R. Reeves, 75, of Corbin, KY passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the Wells Hospice Care Center at Hazard, KY.
Born in Harlan, he was a son of the late Jesse and Dorothy Saylor Reeves.  Also Orval was predeceased by a sister Doris Sergeant, daughter-in-law Joyce Ann Reeves, and his former wife Patricia Egner Reeves.
He had been a carpenter and cabinet maker.
Survivors include his children: Rick Reeves, Janey Heath and husband Clifford, James Reeves and wife Casey, Jeff Reeves and wife Melissa, and Anthony Reeves and wife Cheryl;  numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren;  brothers: Marvin Reeves, Jesse Reeves, Ray Reeves, and Dennis Myers;  and a sister Brenda Elliott.
There will be a visitation beginning at 11 am Thursday at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, with a service to follow at noon.  He will be laid to rest at the Slate Hill Cemetery near London close to his parents.
