Patsy Faye Taylor

Patsy Faye Taylor, age 83, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Friday September 22, 2023, at Baptist Health in Corbin.

Born in Four Mile, KY, she was a daughter of the late Charles Brock and Esther Chitwood Brock. Patsy was retired from the Corbin High School cafeteria. As a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church, she was a devote Christian who led by example how to live a loving and Christ filled life. Patsy was loved her family and she enjoyed baking, cooking, crafting, and cross stitching. Patsy spent many hours watching Gunsmoke, often with her cup of coffee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Leland Brock, Laphenia Cotton-Smiddy, Phyllis Elam, Shirley Godsey, and Jackie Ridener.

Patsy is survived by her daughters, Debbie Vogt (Terry), Dawn Grogan, and April Boian, grandchildren, Justin Benge, Jessica Grimes, Rich Grogan, Alex Boian, and Taylor Boian, great grandchildren, Byron Grimes and Charlie Grimes, her sister, Peggy Hoskins, and by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Graveside service for Patsy Taylor will be held at 1pm on Monday September 25, 2023, at Resthaven Cemetery in Corbin, KY, with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating.
