Paul Edward Brimm, Jr., age 66, of London, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011 at the UK Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late Paul Edward Brimm and Helen Hafley Reeves. He was a member of Calvary Apostolic Church and a U.S. Navy veteran serving from 1963-1971 during the Vietnam era. He had been a deputy jailer for Whitley County for 27 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Reeves.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Brimm; three children, Mark Edward Brimm of Williamsburg, Tony Brimm and wife Shaala of Corbin, and Paula Brimm and husband Joe of London; six grandchildren, Harleigh Brimm, Mercedes, Alexis and Cody Cheek, and Bella and Jacy Brimm; four brothers and one sister, Jim Brimm, Kenny Brimm, Rhonda Fetzer, Tim Brimm, and Chris Brimm, all who mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be at 11 am Wednesday, Sept. 28, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Mosher officiating. Burial will be at Smith Cemetery at Faber with military graveside rites by American Legion Post #88.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Tuesday, Sept. 27, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, 607 Master Street, Corbin, KY.
