Paul Herbert Taylor

Paul Herbert Taylor, age 84, of Pontiac, MI, formerly of Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2009.
He was born in Four Mile, Kentucky, the son of the late Frank and Lucy Taylor. He was retired from General Motors and was a World War II veteran.
In addition to his Parents, he was preceded in death by his Sister, Dorothy Taylor Chadwell, and five Brothers, Marion, James, John, Otis, and Arty Taylor.
He is survived by his Wife, Alta Parson Sargent Taylor; four Children, Larry Sargent and wife Jodi Smith Sargent; Alma Sargent Beebe and husband Ralph; Dale Sargent and wife Edyth Holcomb Sargent; and Bud Sargent and wife Barbara Asher Sargent. Grandchildren; Angie Sargent, Bud Dale Sargent, Chad Boldrey and wife Pam, Jamie Boldrey Henke and husband Brian; Walter Sargent, Lance Sargent, Misty Sargent Townsend, Christie Sargent, Mandi Sargent, Ethan Sargent, Dana Beebe Covet and husband Danny; 19 Great Grandchildren; one brother, David Taylor; as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends who will mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2pm on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Corbin with Military Honors by VFW Post #1410 of Corbin.
Visitation will be on Friday, September 25th, from 6-8pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
