Pauline Gray

Pauline Gray, 80, of Corbin, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016, at Continued Care Hospital in Corbin.
Born in Royal Blue, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Lon Lowe and Martha Jordan Lowe. She was a homemaker, belonged to Hopewell Baptist Church, and was an avid fan of UK basketball.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Gene Gray; son Jerry Merritt; and by five infant children Paul, Judy Lou, Jeffrey, Bobby, and Billy; sister and brother-in-law Jean and Junior Williams; brother Ernest L. Lowe; and brother-in-law Wilbert Perkins.
Pauline is survived by her daughter Sue Stone and husband Tom; son Terry Merritt; daughter-in-law Vickie Merritt; grandchildren Adam Stone and wife Melissa, Kim Hensley and husband Darrin, and Amy Merritt; great-grandchildren Anna Stone, Katie Stone, and Carlin Hensley; brother Clarence Lowe; sisters Irene Perkins, Judy Lawson and husband Wendell, and Mary Lou Payne and husband Don; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 8th, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Herschel Walker and Rev. Dennis McCoy officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.
