Peggy Darlene White

Peggy Darlene White, 58, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Baptist Health Corbin.
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Loraine Day Moore. She recently retired from teaching for the Knox County Schools. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Charles Moore, and sisters Wanda Mohler and Joyce Ann Moore.
Peggy is survived by her husband William White; sons Steve Burke and wife Mary, Corey Burke and wife Jessica, and Jeremy Burke and wife Katie; 13 grandchildren: Brooklynn, Caitlin, Johnathan and fiancee Angelica, Ebony, Luci, Kobe, Zavier, Jordan, Averie, Tate, Nora, Wyatt, and Leo; sisters Geri Dugger, Phyllis Medford and husband John, and Sharon Jones and husband Bobby; and brothers Warren Moore and wife Crystal, Phillip Ray Moore, and Timmy Moore and wife PJ, all to mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 16, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Wilson officiating.
The family will receive friends from12:00-2:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
