Peggy Sue Lawson

Peggy Sue Lawson, 61, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2016 at her residence in Indianapolis, IN.
Born in Manchester, KY, she was the daughter of the late Estill Lawson, Sr. and Lucy Marie Collins Lawson. A graduate of Arsenal Tech High School in Indianapolis, she had been employed as custodian at Community East Hospital in Indianapolis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Jimmie Ray Lawson, Sr. and Estill Lawson Jr.; and sisters Hazel Lawson and Vivian Cooper.
She is survived by brothers Ronnie Lawson and Harold Lawson of Indianapolis, and Jackie Lawson (Dee) of Ninevah; twin sister Patsy Hammer of Indianapolis; 15 nieces and nephews; and 15 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral service will be at 2pm on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Vernon Morris officiating. Burial will be in the Hart Cemetery in South Corbin.
Pallbearers will be Travis Ritter, Jeff Demitt, Kenn Lawson, Devin Richardson, John Stephenson, Tony Avila, Hunter Ritter, and David Wood.
The family will receive friends from 12-2pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
