Penelope Royce Wilson

Penelope Royce Richardson Wilson, age 66, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at Baptist Regional Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 26, 1945, in Welch, West Virginia. Even though she lived in Kentucky longer than she lived in West Virginia, she still proudly told anyone that she was from West Virginia. She had worked in the clerical field for the Cabinet for Families and Children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, A.D. Richardson and Mildred Richardson, and precious brother A.D. Richardson, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Heather Page Wilson-Egelston and son-in-law Todd of London; grandchildren, Paedric Royce Egelston and Penelope Angharad Egelston; sister-in-law, Artis Born and husband Bill of Corbin; niece, Kim Bowling and husband Jeff; nephews, Scott Richardson and wife Trish and Michael Born and wife Jenifer of Granada Hills, California; great-nephews, Blake Bowling and Dakota Richardson; great-nieces, Brierre Bowling, Paige Couch, and Alexandra Richardson; and special feline friends, Hallie and Dash.
Visitation will be from 1:00pm Saturday, May 28, until the funeral hour at 3:00pm at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Eastern Star services by Golden Rule #111.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, 1500 College Way, Lexington, KY 40502 or to the animal charity of the donor's choice.
