Phillip E Hodges

Phillip E. Hodges, age 65, of Vero Beach, FL formerly of Frankfort, KY passed away on Thursday January 7, 2016 at his home.
He was a retired computer programmer with the State of Kentucky's administrative offices of the court. While working, he wrote the first court of appeals case management system and wrote the first statewide criminal history system.
Phillip was born in London, KY he was preceded in death by his Parents, Frederick Hodges and Hazle Gaines Hodges.
He is survived by his Wife, Carol Hubbs Hodges, Uncle, Robert Hodges and wife Evelyn; Sister, Ruth Anne Newton and husband Charles; Brother, Joseph Allen Hodges and wife Bobbie Jo; Mother-in-law, Iva Hubbs, and by several nieces, nephews, friends, and coworkers.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 12, 2016 from 5-8pm at the LeCompte Johnson Taylor Funeral Home, 1725 Louisville Road, Frankfort. Visitation will also be held all day on Wednesday until his funeral at 2pm at the Whetstone Christian Church in Whitley County.
Burial will follow in the Whetstone Church Cemetery with Justin Paul, Dawson Newton, Jason Newton, Phillip Douglas Newton, Matthew Conway, and Melanie Hodges serving as pall bearers. Honorary pall bearers will be Lonnie Newton, Donnie Newton, Jack Newton, Tony Wayne Newton, Donnie Wagner, Josh Hodges, and Austin Toppass
