Phyllis Doris Dugger

Phyllis Doris Dugger, age 83, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at the Christian Health Care Center in Corbin.

A beloved, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she was born on January 10, 1941, to Tip and Loretta Fore Scalf in Corbin. Doris was Pentecostal by Faith and loved singing and going to her church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lester Dugger, and by a sister, Carolyn Dixon.

Phyllis will be dearly missed by her daughters Pam Farris (D.D.), and Kathy Pace (Tom); grandchildren Amanda Farris (Andy Salmons), Haley Mullins (Tyler), Jacob Pace, and Anna Pace; great-grandson, Oak; siblings: Lois Setser, Tip Scalf (Susan), Beverly Elliott (Gary), and Roy Scalf (Shelia); and by several nieces and nephews

A Graveside Service to celebrate the life of Phyllis Doris Dugger will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky, on September 19, 2024, at 2:00 pm with Rev. Johnny Farmer officiating.
