Rachel Virginia Berry

Rachel Virginia Berry, age 86, of Corbin, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin.
She was born on May 23, 1918 at Millstone to the late Maryland Bates and Mattie Craft Bates. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Vergil Berry and two infant children. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.
She is survived by two Daughters, Mattie Lou Berry Childres of Corbin and Beverly Berry Lowe and husband Ron of Edwards, CO; a Son Norman Berry and wife Deborah of Burlington; Five Grandchildren, Cherie Leanne Paige and husband Dale of Hildebran, IN; Richard Lindsey Childres of South Bend, IN, Christina Master and husband Jamie of Hebron, Michael Berry of Hebron, and Angela Kilwy and husband Brad of Burlington; five Great Grandchildren, Trista Leigh Mills Black, Tyler Masters, Michael Gavin Berry, Broden Phillip Milwy, and Jonathan Cole Childres; and a host of Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services were held in Corbin on Thursday, June 24, 2004 at 11am, with Rev Elmer Sexton and Rev. Charles Tackett officiating. Burial followed in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Corbin.
Visitation was from 6-9pm on Wednesday.
