Ralph R. Briar, Jr.

Ralph Briar Jr., 76, of Corbin, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2004 at the Baptist Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired shift manager at Certain-Teed, a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and a United States Marine Corps veteran that served in WWII.
He was preceded in death by his wife JoAnn Briar, a daughter Cindy Briar Kling and a sister Jean Briar Kerns.
Surviving are 3 Sons, Ralph Briar III and wife Wanda of Aurora, Colorado, Jim Briar and wife Mona of Corbin, and Tom Briar and wife Tina of Berea, Kentucky; one Brother, Jack Briar of Hot Springs, Arkansas; one Sister, Joan Briar Godwin of Mt. Dora, Florida; nine Grandchildren and three Great-Grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am Saturday, April 24, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Spice officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm Friday at the funeral home.
