Ray Alsip

Ray Alsip, 58, of Lily, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2007 at Hillcrest Nursing Home as a result of injuries sustained in a past automobile accident.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Phyllis Alsip; a son, Michael Alsip; and parents, Jay and Mary Alsip.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Alsip; son, Layton Champlin; sister, Alma Scalf and husband Jim; mother-in-law, Martha Veach; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Grant and Elizabeth Alsip; several nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Savannah Champlin, Erica Gegory, Christie Alsip, and Dakota Jones; and a special friend, Larry Chadwell, all who mourn his passing.
A graveside service will be at 2 pm Tuesday, May 22, 2007, at Felts Chapel Cemetery in Corbin with David Moore officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Hart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
