Ray B Bolton

Ray B. Bolton, 80, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016 at his home in Gray, KY.
Born in Laurel County, he was the son of the late Fred and Gertie Irvin Bolton. He was a retired heavy equipment mechanic for Whayne Supply. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mattie Marie "Teet" Bolton; sister Arna Jane Elliott, and brother Louis Bolton.
Ray is survived by two sons: Johnny Bolton and wife Kim of Corbin, and Timmy Bolton and wife Bobbie of Gray; grandchildren: Lindsay Peterson, Amanda Smith, Shannon Billings, Spencer Bolton, and Justin Cobb; great-grandchildren: Tristin Billings, Elizabeth Billings, Erin Bolton with whom he resided, Brookelyn Smith, Christian Todd Billings, Liam Peterson, and Mattie Peterson; two brothers, Roy Bolton and Roger Bolton; and three sisters, Ruby Bolton, Freddie Sue Smith, and Judy Payne.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Feb. 18, from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
A Masonic Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, Feb. 19, at the funeral home by the Cumberland Valley Lodge #751 F&AM.
Burial will be in the Gray Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Shriners Children's Hospital, 1900 Richmond Rd., Lexington, KY 40502.
