Raymond B. Robinson

Raymond B. Robinson, 89, a resident of The Heritage, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at the Baptist Regional Medical Center.
Born in Hamilton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Bert and Nola Pennington Robinson and was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was Protestant by faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Lee Robinson.
He is survived by two daughters, Monna Rae Robinson and Mary Ison and fiance Ronald Kidd of Corbin; son, Homer Langdon and wife Sally of Hustonville, KY; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ruth Tootle, all who mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be held at 2 pm Saturday, May 1, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Louie Hart and Rev. Buster Patterson officiating. Burial will be in the Resthaven Cemetery with military graveside honors by the American Legion Post 88.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, 607 Master Street, Corbin, KY.
