Retha Gladys Penlack

Retha Gladys Penlack, 84, of Taylor Mill, Kentucky and formerly of Corbin, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at St. Elizabeth Hospital South in Edgewood, Kentucky.
Born March 12, 1921 in Corbin, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Ethel Bennett Fuson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Roy Penlack on April 27, 1995; two Sisters, Doris Rapier and Ruth Smith.
She was a retired machinist. She was a member of the New Macedonia Baptist Church and was a former member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Corbin.
Surviving are her son Lee Penlack and wife Lorraine of Taylor Mill; daughter Sandra Mize of Louisville; granddaughter Retha Lee Mize; 2 sisters, Ruby Dugger of Corbin, and Emma Sue Cox of Galveston, IN, 2 Brothers, Gene Fuson of Orlando and H.P. Fuson of Corbin
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, May 6, 2005 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Patrick Turner officiating. Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Thursday at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
